Veggie dips are not only one of the healthiest snacks you can make, they’re also super nutritious! Here are a few awesome veggie dip recipes you can make quick and easy.
Tzatziki has been one of the most popular Greek yogurt dips for a long number of years. To make it, you’ll need two containers of Greek yogurt (seven ounces each), one seeded and peeled cucumber, a quarter-cup sour cream, two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, one tablespoon of white wine vinegar, one tablespoon of minced fresh dill, and one and a half-tablespoons of minced garlic. Grate the cucumber and squeeze out its excess liquid. Then, toss in the rest of your ingredients, and stir until it’s all combined.
Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip.
Ranch is probably one of the best Greek yogurt veggie dips you can make, and all you need is one and a half-cups of plain Greek yogurt, half a teaspoon of dried chives, three-quarters of a teaspoon of dried parsley, one-quarter teaspoon of dried dill weed, one-quarter of a teaspoon of garlic powder, one-quarter of a teaspoon of onion powder, one-eighth of a teaspoon of salt, and one-quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper. Throw it all together and mix it until it’s combined well. Then, like most other veggie dips, refrigerate it for a couple hours, or just overnight.
Green Olive Dip.
To make this most exotic of veggie dips, get two-thirds of a cup of whole milk, 12 large oil-packed anchovy fillets, two small smashed cloves of garlic, 16 fresh sprigs of cilantro finely chopped, one and a half-cups of vegetable oil, one and one-third-cups of pitted brined green olive chopped, which you should rinse off if they’re especially salty. Blend the cilantro, garlic, anchovies, and the milk in a food processor or a blender. As it’s going, slowly pour your olive oil in through the blender cap’s feed hole. Then, let it refrigerate for a while and it’s ready to serve. If the dip is too pasty, add some more whole milk.
